areas of support

People come to therapy and coaching for many different reasons. You may be experiencing a specific challenge, navigating a significant life change, or simply seeking a greater understanding of yourself and your relationships. Below are some of the areas I commonly support clients with, although this is not an exhaustive list.

life changes and transitions

Life can present us with unexpected challenges and periods of change that leave us feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or stuck.

Whether you are navigating a career change, relationship difficulties, becoming a parent, children leaving home, retirement, or other significant life events, therapy can provide a space to reflect, process your experiences, and move forward with greater confidence and direction.

relationships, couples & intimacy

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of fulfilment in our lives, but they can also be challenging and complex.

I work with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties with communication, conflict, trust, intimacy, sexual concerns, and relationship transitions.

Therapy provides a supportive environment to explore patterns within relationships, improve understanding, strengthen connection, and navigate challenges together.

peri menopause, menopause and midlife

Perimenopause and menopause can bring significant physical, emotional, and psychological changes. Many people experience increased anxiety, changes in confidence, mood fluctuations, relationship challenges, or a sense of losing themselves during this period of life.

Therapy can provide space to understand these changes, reconnect with yourself, and navigate this transition with greater self-compassion and confidence.

I also support partners and couples who may be navigating the impact of menopause within their relationship, helping to build understanding, communication, and connection during times of change.

neurodiversity

Many neurodivergent individuals spend years feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or as though they are constantly trying to meet expectations that do not fit the way they naturally think and experience the world. This can impact confidence, relationships, work, emotional wellbeing, and sense of identity.

I offer a supportive and non-judgemental space to explore the challenges and strengths associated with neurodiversity, including ADHD. Together we can develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, identify patterns that may be causing difficulties, and find approaches that work for you. Whether you have a formal diagnosis, are questioning whether ADHD or another form of neurodiversity may be relevant, or are navigating the impact of neurodiversity within relationships or family life, therapy can provide space for reflection, self-acceptance, and growth.

anxiety, stress & emotional wellbeing

Anxiety can affect every aspect of life, from our relationships and confidence to our work and daily routines.

You may find yourself worrying excessively, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with self-doubt, or finding it difficult to switch off.

Together we can explore the underlying causes of these experiences, helping you develop greater understanding, resilience, and healthier ways of managing life's pressures.

identity, sexuality & self understanding

Our sense of identity develops throughout our lives and can sometimes raise questions about who we are, how we relate to others, and where we feel we belong.

I offer an affirming and non-judgemental space to explore issues relating to identity, sexuality, self-esteem, personal values, and life direction.

grief, loss and bereavement

Loss can take many forms, including bereavement, the end of a relationship, changes in health, identity, or life circumstances.

Grief is a deeply personal experience and there is no right way to navigate it. Therapy offers a compassionate space to process loss, make sense of difficult emotions, and find a way forward at your own pace.

mens health

Many men experience periods of stress, anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm but can find it difficult to seek support. Societal expectations, work pressures, relationship challenges, and the responsibility of providing for or supporting others can make it difficult to acknowledge when things are becoming overwhelming.

Therapy offers a confidential and non-judgemental space to explore what you are experiencing at your own pace. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, anger, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-esteem, identity, life transitions, or simply feel that something isn't quite right, we can work together to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

I also support men navigating significant life events, including becoming a father, separation or divorce, career pressures and burnout.
